<br />RESOLUTION REQUIRING THE ABATEMENT OF NUISANCE <br /> <br />WBERF~S, the Coa~c11 of the City of Redwood City, <br />did, on the 1st day of March" 1943, pass and adopt Rthfblution <br />Declaring Nuisance No. 1943-1, in wh1~ resolution it was de- <br />clared that noxious or dangerous weeds were growing upon all <br />the sidewalks I streets , avenues, roads, boulevardaand highways <br />in said city, a.nd upon all the lots and property in said city, <br />which weeds are of B. kind which bear seeds of a w1ngy or downy <br />nature and wlll attain such large growth as to become a fire <br />menace when dry, and that said weeds constitute a public nuisance; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, e. fter the passage of said Resolution De- <br />olal.ing Nuisance Ho. 1943-1" the Street Superintendent at." the <br />City of Redwood City duly and regularly caused to be pOffed notices <br />ot the passage of said resolution in time, f'orm" manner and <br />number as required by law; and <br />Wh"EREAS I a t the time fixed in said notices and in said <br />resolution when objec'tions to the removal of such weeds would <br />be :p.eard and given consideration by the Council of the City ot <br />":Redwood City, no objections of any kind were made against the <br />removal or said weeds, and said Council now having acquired <br />jurisdiction thereof: <br />TlmRrJ~ORE, 1~ IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of Redwood City that the Superintendent of Streets of said city <br />b.e and he is hereby ordered and directed to aoa te the nuisanoe <br />existing as specified in sa.id Resolution Declaring Nuisance <br />No. 1943-1$ and as provided by law. <br />
