<br />S~~C:wb 7/31/80 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />8655 <br /> <br />O"R1G1NAl <br />AUG 11 1980 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION WITHDRAWING ANNEXED TERRITORY <br />KNOWN AS "PORTION OF JEFFERSON AVENUE" FROM <br />EMERALD LAKE LIGHTING DISTRICT <br /> <br />\VHEREAS, the hereinafter described territory known as "Portion <br /> <br />of Jefferson Avenue" was annexed to the City of Redwood City by San <br /> <br />Mateo County Board of Supervisors Resolution No. 20452, adopted <br /> <br />October 6, 1964; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said territory was included in the Emerald Lake Highway <br /> <br />Lighting District and it has been brought to the attention of this <br /> <br />Council that said territory has never been formally detached from <br /> <br />said District; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOvvS : <br /> <br />1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 19290 of the Streets <br /> <br />and Highways Code of the State of California, the hereinafter <br /> <br />described territory known as "Portion of Jefferson Avenue" is hereby <br /> <br />declared withdrawn from the Emerald Lake Highway Lighting District. <br /> <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to forward a copy of this <br /> <br />resolution to the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors of the County of <br /> <br />San Mateo, along with a check for Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00), payable <br /> <br />to the State Board of Equalization. <br /> <br />3. The withdrawal of the aforesaid territory known as "Portion <br /> <br />of Jefferson Avenue," hereinafter described, shall be effective upon <br /> <br />the adoption of this resolution and its subsequent filing with the <br /> <br />office described in paragraph 2, above. <br /> <br />4. The property withdrawn is described as follows: <br /> <br />All that certain portion of the EllliRALD LAKE HIGHWAY LIGHTING <br /> <br />DISTRICT, which was annexed to the City of Redwood City by San Mateo <br /> <br />County Board of Supervisors, Resolution No. 20452, Adopted October 6, <br /> <br />1964, described as follows: <br /> <br />8655 <br />
