S~~C:wb 7/31/80 RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 8655 O"R1G1NAl AUG 11 1980 RESOLUTION WITHDRAWING ANNEXED TERRITORY KNOWN AS "PORTION OF JEFFERSON AVENUE" FROM EMERALD LAKE LIGHTING DISTRICT \VHEREAS, the hereinafter described territory known as "Portion of Jefferson Avenue" was annexed to the City of Redwood City by San Mateo County Board of Supervisors Resolution No. 20452, adopted October 6, 1964; and WHEREAS, said territory was included in the Emerald Lake Highway Lighting District and it has been brought to the attention of this Council that said territory has never been formally detached from said District; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOvvS : 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 19290 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, the hereinafter described territory known as "Portion of Jefferson Avenue" is hereby declared withdrawn from the Emerald Lake Highway Lighting District. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to forward a copy of this resolution to the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, along with a check for Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00), payable to the State Board of Equalization. 3. The withdrawal of the aforesaid territory known as "Portion of Jefferson Avenue," hereinafter described, shall be effective upon the adoption of this resolution and its subsequent filing with the office described in paragraph 2, above. 4. The property withdrawn is described as follows: All that certain portion of the EllliRALD LAKE HIGHWAY LIGHTING DISTRICT, which was annexed to the City of Redwood City by San Mateo County Board of Supervisors, Resolution No. 20452, Adopted October 6, 1964, described as follows: 8655
