<br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. <br /> <br />~'K <br /> <br />AUTHORIZ,IN,G AGREEMENT WITH SOUTHERN PACIFIC <br />RAILROAD COMP~~Y <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City of Redwood City co~nenced Action <br />No. 45650 in the Superior Court of the State of California, <br />in and for the County of San Mateo, in eminent domain for <br />the acquisition of a certain easement for the construction, <br />maintenance and operation of an interceptor sewer; and <br />WHEREAS, the Southern Pacific Railroad Company and the <br />Southern Pacific Company are the owner and lessee, respectively, <br />of said property over which said easement is desired; and <br />vVHEREAS, the Southern Pacific Railroad Company and the <br /> <br />Southern Pacific Company have agreed to grant. said easement to <br /> <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City under certain conditions"if the City <br /> <br /> <br />of Redwood City will enter into an agreement embodying such <br /> <br />condi tions; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE AND IT HEREBY IS RESOLVED that the <br /> <br />City Manager of the City of Redwood City, California be and he <br />hereby is ~!thorized and directed to enter into an agreement <br />with the Southern Pacific Railroad Company and the Southern <br />Pacific Company according to the terms and conditions set forth <br />in that agreement furnished by the Southern Pacific Railroad <br />Company and the Southern Pacific Company to the City of Redwood <br />City for approval, to which agreement reference is hereby made <br />for specific particulars. <br />
