REV: 06-02-22 SK <br />Memorandum of Understanding <br />Parties: Ellen Wu, Urban Habitat <br />Melissa Stevenson Diaz, City of Redwood City. Date: May 23, 2022 <br />Subject:Subgrant of Silicon Valley Community Foundation grant for South Bay-Peninsula <br />Preservation Lab Technical Assistance Fund <br />This memorandum of understanding (“MOU”) describes a commitment by Urban Habitat to make <br />a subgrant in the amount of $20,000 to the City of Redwood City. <br />Background <br />Urban Habitat was awarded a grant from the Silicon Valley Community Foundation for funding <br />Technical Assistance needs as part of the South Bay-Peninsula Preservation Lab. After reviewing <br />the proposals submitted for funding, City of Redwood City was approved for a subgrant. <br />Scope of Work <br />City of Redwood City will develop an over-the-counter housing preservation fund. <br />Additional Agreements <br />City of Redwood City agrees to: <br />•Complete all activities as described in this MOU by or before December 31, 2022. <br />•Provide regular update briefings and feedback discussions at the South Bay-Peninsula <br />Preservation Lab convenings. <br />•Provide Urban Habitat with updates on significant progress on work relating to activities <br />described in the Scope of Work, and with information on the activities and outcomes under <br />this subgrant by December 31, 2022. <br />•Spend the funds only for the purposes stated in this MOU. <br />•By countersigning this MOU, you agree that your organization will not promote or engage in <br />violence, terrorism, bigotry or the destruction of any State. <br />Urban Habitat will pay the City of Redwood City $20,000 upon both parties’ signing this MOU. <br />Accepted on behalf of Urban Habitat: Accepted on behalf of Redwood City: <br />By: By: <br />(Signature) (Signature) <br />Name: Name: <br />Date: Date: <br />ATTY/AGR.2022.128/Urban Habitat (South Bay-Peninsula Preservation Lab TA Fund - MOU) (Page 1 of 1) <br />Ellen Wu <br />Jun 5, 2022 <br />MGR-Melissa Diaz <br />Jun 9, 2022
