'- 0 R I G I N A L 8/9/99 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2178 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5.2 AND SECTION 5.26 OF <br /> CHAPTER 5 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> RELATING TO LIMITATIONS UPON MAINTENANCE OF CERTAIN <br /> ANIMALS AND FOWL <br /> <br /> THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. Section 5.2 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "Section 5.2. REGULATIONS FOR MAINTENANCE OF DOGS <br /> AND CATS: (a) It shall be unlawful, and it is declared to be a nuisance <br /> for any person or persons other than a duly licensed veterinarian to keep <br /> more than four (4) dogs and/or cats, or a combination thereof, but in no <br /> event more than (2) dogs, over the age of three (3) months on any one lot <br /> less than one acre in area within the City; (b) It shall be unlawful, and it is <br /> declared to be a nuisance for any person or persons other than a duly <br /> licensed veterinarian to keep more than four (4) dogs and/or cats over the <br /> age of three (3) months on any one lot one acre or more in area within <br /> the City." <br /> <br /> "Section 2.
