_, 7/26/99 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2174 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE ADDING SECTIONS 21.17 AND 21.18 TO CHAPTER 21 OF THE <br />CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO UNSANITARY <br />CONDITIONS IN PUBLIC PLACES <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Sections 21.17 and 21.18 are hereby added to Chapter 21 of the <br />Code of the City of Redwood City to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 21.17. URINATING AND DEFECATING IN PUBLIC PROHIBITED: <br />It shall be unlawful for any person to urinate or defecate in a public place, or area <br />of a public place, except into a toilet or a urinal. <br /> <br />Section 21.18. ENFORCEMENT - FINES AND PENALTY: Violation of the <br />provisions of Section 21.17 of this Chapter shall be deemed an infraction, which <br />upon conviction thereof, shall be punishable as specified in Section 1.7B of this <br />Code." <br /> <br />Section 3.
