Code § 27383. <br />CONTRACT BETWEEN REDWOOD CITY AND SATYANARAYNAN CHANDRASEKAR AND <br />DEEPIKA SREEDHAR FOR HISTORIC PROPERTY PRESERVATION OF <br />1200 ARGUELLO AVENUE (APN: 052-253-090) <br />THIS CONTRACT, is made and entered into this 12 -day of N M , 2024, by and <br />between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal corporation of the State of <br />California, hereinafter called ("City"), and Satyanaraynan Chandrasekar and Deepika Sreedhar, <br />hereinafter called ("Owner(s)"). <br />WITNESSETH <br />WHEREAS, California Government Code Sections 50280, et. seq. authorizes cities to enter <br />into contracts with the owners of qualified historic property to provide for the use, maintenance and <br />restoration of such historic property so as to retain its historical significance; and <br />WHEREAS, Owner possesses fee title in and to that certain real property, together with <br />associated structures and improvements thereon, located at 1200 Arguello Avenue, Redwood City, <br />California (the "Historic Property") (a legal description of the Historic Property is attached hereto as <br />Exhibit A); and <br />WHEREAS, on July 24, 2006, the City Council of the City of Redwood City established the <br />Mezesville Historic District as a historic district pursuant to Redwood City Historic Preservation <br />Ordinance and identifies the Historic Property as a contributing property with historic significance in <br />the Mezesville Historic District pursuant to the terms and provisions of Chapter 40 of the Redwood <br />City Code; and <br />REV: 10-25-24 J B <br />ATTY/AGR 2024.205/Staya Chandrasekr (1200 Arguello—Historic Preservation Agreement) (Page 1 of 14) <br />11 <br />
