Proclamation <br />Honoring Davina Hurt <br />Woman of The Year <br />WHEREAS, Davina Hurt has been named 2025 Woman of the Year; and <br />WHEREAS, Davina has served for the City of Belmont, as Mayor, Vice Mayor, Council Member, <br />and Planning Commissioner for 9 years; and <br />WHEREAS, Davina has served as Commissioner of the Silicon Valley Clean Water Board; and <br />WHEREAS, Davina serves as Chair of the Board of Directors, Bay Area Air Quality Management <br />District <br />WHEREAS, Davina has served as the advisory Council and Former President of the Board of <br />Directors of Samaritan House and; <br />WHEREAS, Davina was a Gubernatorial appointee to the Air Resources Board; and <br />WHEREAS, Davina is a Chamber San Mateo County Education and Workforce committee <br />member; and <br />WHEREAS, Davina was appointed by Governor Newsom to the California Air Resources Board; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Davina was a Chamber San Mateo County Leadership Graduate class of 2017 <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT I, ELMER MARTINEZ SABALLOS, <br />MAYOR OF REDWOOD CITY, on behalf of the City Council and the people of the City of <br />Redwood City, do hereby congratulate and celebrate Davina Hurt in receiving this honorable <br />recognition as the Chamber San Mateo County's 2025 Woman of the Year. <br />Date: February 27, 2025 <br />ElmerMarfine Saballos, Mayor <br />.i <br />Kaia Eakin, Vice Mayor <br />1&/9-. <br />Isabella Chu, <br />Council Member <br />aw" - <br />Jeff Gee, Council Member <br />Diane Howard, Council Member <br />Marcella Padilla, Council Membar <br />Chris Smrken, Council Member <br />
