Learn why this isimportant
Dear Mayor and Members of the City Council,
I am a Centennial neighborhood resident of the past 10 years, and I’m writing to express
strong support for the proposed pavement maintenance projects outlined in the 2026–2027
Pavement Management Program.
Maintaining and sealing our streets before they deteriorate further is a smart and cost-effective
approach, and I appreciate the City prioritizing preventative maintenance. Our neighborhood
streets are heavily used by families, pedestrians, cyclists, and children. I regularly bike
through the neighborhood with my two kids, and well-maintained streets make a real
difference for safety.
I’m especially glad to see Centennial neighborhood streets included in this package and
support the plan to increase the PCI scores through pavement treatments. Investing in
preventative maintenance now will help the City avoid more expensive reconstruction later
and keep our infrastructure in good shape for years to come.
Thank you for your continued investment in maintaining safe and functional streets for
Redwood City residents.
Sincerely,
Jessica Shade
