rodamation <br />Honoring Danield Cuadros <br />Co -Outstanding Student <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City takes great pride in recognizing young leaders whose dedication to <br />service strengthens the fabric of our community; and <br />WHEREAS, Daniela Cuadros, an exemplary student at Carlmont High School, has demonstrated an <br />extraordinary commitment to volunteerism, leadership, and connection from a very young age; and <br />WHEREAS, inspired at just five years old while volunteering at a holiday gift drive for low-income families <br />serving as both gift wrapper and personal shoppe, Daniela witnessed firsthand the joy of giving, planting <br />a lifelong seed of service; and <br />WHEREAS, Daniela has learned that meaningful service is rooted in human connection, bonding with <br />children like Noah at Common Roots Farm by communicating through art, and supporting families at Una <br />Vida Farm by caring -for their children while parents gathered fresh food for their households; and <br />WHEREAS, Daniela has dedicated countless Friday evenings to serving her community through Key Club, <br />volunteering at local school events including seasonal carnivals at Nesbit Elementary School and Henry <br />Ford Elementary School, where she fostered connection and belonging by assisting families and engaging <br />community members with warmth and kindness; and <br />WHEREAS, as a camp counselor with The Portola Valley Theater Conservatory, Daniela mentored young <br />performers not only in stagecraft choreography, blocking, and singing but also in teamwork, respect, and <br />environmental responsibility, finding joy in the smiles of campers and their families after each <br />performance; and <br />WHEREAS, Daniela plans to pursue studies in International Relations and Latin American Studies with <br />the goal of a career in law, and her accomplishments in high school mock trial reflect her strong potential <br />to succeed and continue advocating for others. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT I, ELMER MARTINEZ SABALL OS, MAYOR OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, on behalf of the City Council and the people of the City of Redwood City, do hereby <br />recognize and honor Daniela Cuadros as a Co—Outstanding Student Awardee, commending her <br />compassion, leadership, and steadfast dedication to building meaningful connections within her <br />community. <br />BE IT FURTHER PROCLAIMED that the City of Redwood City applauds Daniela's service, celebrates <br />her achievements, and looks forward to the positive contributions she will undoubtedly make in the fields <br />of law and public service. <br />Date: March 19, 2026 Eha.rk/arrirSnbnila�Mayer <br />Kala Eakin, Vice Mayor <br />MY'11f�} <br />Isabella Chu, Council Member <br />ra42�- <br />Jg80ee, Council Member <br />Diane Howard, Council Member <br />Marcuilla Padilla, Council Member <br />i <br />Chris Smrken, Council Member <br />
