1 R E S O L U T I O N N 0. 182 GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY OF THAT UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESCRIBED 17,REIN AND DESIGNATED "HILL KNOWLES TERRITORY NO. 2 AND GIVING NOTICE OF TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING OF PROTESTS THERETO. RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS 1. That pursuant to the provisions of the Annexation. of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939, a petition signed by owners of not less than one fourth (1/4) of the land in the hereinafter - described territory, by area and by assessed value as shown on the last equalized assessment roll of the County of San Mateo, State of California, was filed with the Council of Redwood City requesting annexation of the hereinafter-des- cribed property to said City. That said territory which said petitioners request to be annexed to the City of Redwood City, and which said City and its Council propose to annex to the City of Redwood City, is situated in the County of San Mateo, State of California, hereby designated "Hill Knowles Territory No. 2 and described as follows; A portion of Lot 4 as same is shown on the map entitled "Map of the Partition of the Hill Knowles 251 acre tract, adjoining Redwood City, California", filed in the office of the County Recorder of San Mateo County, July 2 -8, 1904, in Book "E" of Original Maps at Page 24, San Mateo County Records, being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at the most Northerly corner of said Lot 4. said corner also being a point on the existing corporate city limit line of the City of Redwood City, and said point also being the intersection of the Southeasterly line of Charter Street, 36.00 feet in width, with the Southwesterly line of the Southern Pacific right -of - , way, 75.00 feet in width, as shown on said_ Map of Hill Knowles Tract;. THENCE along said Southwesterly line of the Southern Pacific right -of -way and the Northeasterly line of said Lot 4, -1-
