RES 0LUTI0N N0. 1841 <br />GRANTING VARIANCE TO DOCTOR MELEYCO TO <br />ALLOW 5 FOOT REAR YARD, LOT 14, BLOCK <br />6, REDWOOD HIGHLANDS. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of Redwood City sub- <br />mitted the application of DOCTOR MELEYCO for a variance, with <br />the recommendation that such application be granted; and <br />WHEREAS, the Council of Redwood City has considered said <br />application in accordance with the provisions of Section 20 of <br />Ordinance No. 600; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of Redwood City hereby <br />resolves as follows: <br />1. Said Council finds the following conditions exist: <br />(a) That there are exceptional or extraordinary <br />circumstances which apply to the land, build- <br />ing or use referred to in the application, <br />which circumstances or conditions do not <br />generally apply to lands, buildings or uses <br />in the same district. <br />(b) That the granting of the application is <br />necessary for the preservation and enjoyment <br />of substantial property rights of the <br />petitioner. <br />(c) That the granting of such application will <br />not materially affect adversely neighboring <br />property or the public welfare, health or <br />safety of persons residing or working in the <br />neighborhood. <br />2. Said Council hereby grants to DOCTOR MELEYCO a <br />variance to allow a five foot (5 ) rear yard on Lot 14, Block <br />6, Redwood Highlands, on strict condition that the construction <br />on said property shall be in strict accordance with the plans <br />heretofore submitted to the Planning Commission and the Council <br />of Redwood City. <br />
