04/12/2010 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 15010 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REWOOD CITY <br />APPROVING FEE UNDER THE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY FEE <br />UNDER THE PUBLIC RECORDS ACT <br />WHEREAS, the Public Records Act allows for recovery of costs incurred to <br />reproduce and deliver the record to the requestor when among other things, the <br />records require data compilation, extraction, or programming and are not already being <br />produced in the format requested; and <br />WHEREAS, the hourly cost (salary plus benefits) of a senior information <br />Technology Analyst, typically required to satisfy requests, is $73.59 for fiscal year 2009- <br />2010 and $74.22 for the fiscal year 2010 -2011; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. $73.59 is the approved hourly rate to be applied when satisfying a public <br />records request for the fiscal year 2009 -2010. <br />2. $74.22 is the approved hourly rate to be applied when satisfying a public <br />records request for the fiscal year 2010 -2011. <br />ATTY /RESO /RESO.1995 <br />041910 <br />1 <br />
