0 R I G I N A L 6/2/97 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2124 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 20.95 OF THE CODE OF <br /> THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO REMOVAL OF <br /> VEHICLES PARKED IN EXCESS OF SEVENTY-TWO HOURS <br /> <br /> Section 1. Section 20.95 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "Sec. 20.95. <br /> <br /> A. No person who owns or has possession, custody, or control <br /> of any vehicle shall park or leave standing such vehicle upon <br /> a street, alley, or highway, or a parking lot owned or leased <br /> by, or under the vehicular regulatory jurisdiction of, the City, <br /> for more than a consecutive period of seventy-two (72) <br /> hours. <br /> <br /> B. In the event a vehicle is parked or left standing upon a <br /> street, alley, or highway, or a parking lot owned or leased by, <br /> or under vehicular regulatory jurisdiction of, the City in <br /> excess of a consecutive pedod of seventy-two (72) hours, <br /> any member of the Police Department authorized by the <br /> Chief of Police may remove the vehicle from the street or <br /> highway in the manner and subject to the requirements of <br /> Section 22650, et seq., of the Vehicle Code of the State. <br /> For purposes of this section, a vehicle shall be deemed <br /> parked or left standing if it has not been moved at least' two- <br /> tenths (0.20) of a mile within the aforesaid seventy-two-hour <br /> period." <br /> <br /> Section 2.
