<br /> <br />{ <br />I ~ " <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />DES:yc:l/8/70 <br /> <br />OR!GfNAL' <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br />---------- <br /> <br />tolqE, <br /> <br />JAN 19 70 <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY AND THE BELMONT FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT, <br />PROVIDING FOR EXCHANGE OF FIRE PROTECTION SERVICES, <br />AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to and reviewed by this <br /> <br />Council an agreement for mutual fire protection aid between the <br /> <br />City of Redwood city and the Belmont Fire 'Protection District; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is to the mutual advantage and benefit of the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City and the Belmont Fire Protection District to <br /> <br />render supplemental assistance through their respective Fire <br /> <br />Departments in the event an emergency fire protection situation <br /> <br />arises; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />approve said agreement and authorize execution of the same for <br /> <br />and on behalf of the City of Redwood City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Mutual Aid Fire Protection <br /> <br />Agreement, II by and between the City of Redwood City and the <br /> <br />Belmont Fire Protection District, a copy of which agreement is <br /> <br />on file in the office of the City Clerk and by this reference <br /> <br />incorporated herein, to which copy reference is hereby made for <br /> <br />full particulars concerning the terms and conditions thereof, <br /> <br />is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized <br /> <br />and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the city <br /> <br />of Redwood city. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
