S-P?O <br /> ---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH BERT A. BETTS AND ASSOCIATES FOR <br />FINANCIAL CONSULTING SERVICES (CIVIC CENTER COMPLEX) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City proposes a capital improve- <br /> <br />ment program for the construction of public improvements and <br /> <br />facilities, including a City Hall and related facilities (herein- <br /> <br />after referred to as lithe project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires financial consult- <br /> <br />ing services in connection with the planning for, and acquisition' <br /> <br />and construction of, the project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Bert A. Betts and Associates, financial consultants, <br /> <br />has represented to the City of Redwood City that said firm is <br /> <br />experienced in performing financial consulting services, and <br /> <br />qualified to perform such services for the city of Redwood City <br /> <br />for the purpose of financing the acquisition and construction <br /> <br />of the project, and has proposed to render such services for <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council an agreement <br /> <br />by and between the City of Redwood City and the firm of Bert A. <br /> <br />Betts and Associates for financial consulting services in <br /> <br />connection with the proposed capital improvement program for <br /> <br />the construction of the above mentioned improvements, and it <br /> <br />is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Agreement - Financial <br /> <br />Consulting Services (Civic Center Complex)," by and between the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City and the firm of Bert A. Betts and Associates, <br />
