<br />f' <br /> <br />~ <br />. . . <br />~ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />DES:yc:l/6/69 <br /> <br />~ e 'fi1 <br /> <br />.,.. <br /> <br />RESOLUT.!ON <br /> <br />N o. 5 ft:,' <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires landscape archi- <br /> <br />tectural services on a continuing basis for various projects and <br /> <br />at various locations throughout the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City's requirements for such landscape archi- <br /> <br />tectural services are such that they must be performed in a <br /> <br />flexible manner and in conjunction with the over-all planning and <br /> <br />development of the city's park and recreation facilities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, RIBERA & SUE, INC., landscape architects, have <br /> <br />represented to the City of Redwood City that they..'a're:uniquely <br /> <br />qualified and experienced to perform all of the services referred <br /> <br />to aforesaid; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City desires to engage Ribera & <br /> <br />Sue, Inc., to perform such architectural services including, but <br /> <br />not limited to, site development programming, individual site <br /> <br />master planning, preparation of working drawings and specifications, <br /> <br />and administration and supervision of landscaping construction; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council an agree- <br /> <br />ment by and between the City of Redwood City and Ribera & Sue, Inc., <br /> <br />for the performance of the aforesaid architectural services, and <br /> <br />it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br />contract and authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Agreement for Landscape <br /> <br />Architectural Services," by and between the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />and Ribera & Sue, Inc., a copy of which agreement is on file in <br />
