P-1347 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FILING OF A LOAN APPLICATION <br /> WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF BOATING AND WATERWAYS OF THE <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR THE REDWOOD CITY YACHT HARBOR <br /> REHABILITATION AND BEAUTIFICATION PROJECT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the State Department of Boating and Waterways of <br />the State of California provides loans to cities, counties and <br />districts for the development of small craft harbor facilities; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHERE~S, the Port of Redwood City is desirous of developing <br />certain proposed boating facilities to meet the needs of the <br />boating public in the surrounding area; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Port of Redwood City conducted a feasibility <br />study which demonstrated the proposed project to feasible from <br /> <br />both an engineering and financial perspective; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. This Board hereby authorizes and directs the Executive <br />Director (Port Manager) to apply to the Department of Boating and <br /> <br />Waterways of the State of California for a loan in the amount of <br /> Thousand <br />Eiqht Hundred Eiqht~nd No/100 Dollars ($ 880r000.00 ) for <br /> <br />the development of a Municipal Yacht Harbor Rehabilitation and <br />Beautification Project for the Redwood City Yacht Harbor. <br /> <br /> 2. This Board hergby agrees to accept the proceeds of said <br />loan and authorizes the Executive Director (Port Manager) to <br />execute such loan documents and other necessary documents (in <br />form approved by the Port Attorney) as may be required or <br /> <br /> <br />
