P-1339 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> PERMIT FOR DEMOLITION OF PRIVATE PIER <br /> <br /> (LESLIE SALT CO.) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 49 of the <br />Charter of the City of Redwood City permission of the Board of <br />Port Commissioners of the City of Redwood City is required for <br />the construction, extension, alteration, improvement, erection, <br />remodeling or repair of any pier or other harbor structure within <br />the Port Area of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Leslie Salt Co. , a Delaware corporation, a <br />subsidiary of Cargill Company, has applied for a permit to <br />demolish the southern most end of its pier located within and <br />adjacent to Redwood Creek at said applicant'~ Redwood City plant; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Board has reviewed said application and is <br />willing to grant said permit in the form of Exhibit "A" hereof, <br /> <br />attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain permit entitled "Permit (Demolition of Portions <br />of Private Pier)" (form dated 05/02/90) issued to Leslie Salt <br />Co., a Delaware corporation, a subsidiary of Cargill Company for <br />the demolition of portions of a pier located within and adjacent <br />to Redwood Creek, in the form of Exhibit A is hereby approved, <br />and the President and Secretary of this Board are hereby <br /> <br /> <br />
