P-1330 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN PORT-OWNED PERSONAL <br /> PROPERTY (TWO MOTOR GRAB BUCKETS ) SURPLUS, AND <br /> AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR SALE THEREOF UPON SEALED <br /> BIDS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, two (2) motor grab buckets heretofore acquired by <br />the Port of Redwood City from Landers Maschinenfabrik, of Wesel, <br />Germany, are no longer required for Port or other municipal <br />purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Assessor has appraised said motor grab <br />buckets and it is the intention of this Board to authorize sale <br /> <br />thereof to the highest responsible bidder; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. This Board hereby finds and declares that those two (2) <br />certain motor grab buckets, above described, are no longer <br />required for Port or other municipal purposes, and said motor <br />grab buckets shall be, and are hereby, declared surplus. <br /> <br /> 2. The Port Executive Director (Manager) is hereby <br />authorized and directed to advertise the sale of said motor grab <br />buckets upon sealed bids at not less than 90% of the appraised <br />value thereof in accordance with the provisions of Section <br />3-1/2(d) of the Charter of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
