ON NO. 6880 *R 19 '73 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ABANDON PORTION OF PUBLIC <br /> STREET IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 3 OF DIVISION 9, STREETS <br /> AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA; SETTING <br /> TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN <br /> OR OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSED VACATION; AND ORDERING <br /> POSTING OF NOTICE OF SUCH PROPOSED VACATION <br /> WHEREAS, a portion of East Fuller Street in the City of <br /> Redwood City, heretofore dedicated as a public street, is not <br /> needed for present or prospective street purposes; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City intends to <br /> vacate and abandon said portion of East Fuller Street pursuant to <br /> the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways <br /> Code; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The City Council hereby declares its intention to vacate <br /> a portion of East Fuller Street, as hereinafter described, subject <br /> to the reservation of certain easements therein hereinafter <br /> described, and elects to proceed with such vacation and abandon- <br /> ment pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 of the <br /> Streets and Highways Code. <br /> 2 . The portion of East Fuller Street to be vacated is as <br /> indicated on the plat on file in the office of the City Clerk, <br /> entitled "Abandonment of a portion of East Fuller, " dated <br /> 1973, and together with the easements excepted' and reserved there- <br /> from, is more particularly described as follows : <br />
