qW i * DES:yc:1 /30/73 <br />RESOLUTION N0. 6866 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />FIRST AMENDATORY CONTRACT AMENDING NEIGHBORHOOD <br />FACILITIES GRANT CONTRACT NO. CALIF. N -49(G) <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 6849, adopted December 13, <br />1972, by the Council of the City of Redwood City, this City filed <br />an amended application for a neighborhood facilities grant to <br />provide certain facilities of the type contemplated in Section 703 <br />of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1965; and <br />WHEREAS, in response to said amended application, the United <br />States of America has tendered to the City of Redwood City a <br />First Amendatory Contract Amending Neighborhood Facilities Grant <br />Contract No. Calif. N -49(G) under which said United States of <br />America agrees to make an amended grant to the City to aid in <br />financing that certain neighborhood facilities project designated <br />"Project No. Calif. N -49; and <br />WHEREAS, the City is duly authorized, under and pursuant to <br />its Charter, and the Constitution and laws of the State of California, <br />to undertake and carry out said program and to execute said proposed <br />amendatory contract; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. That certain proposed contract entitled "United States <br />of America Department of Housing and Urban Development - First <br />Amendatory Contract Amending Neighborhood Facilities Grant Contract <br />No. Calif. N- 49(G)," a copy of which agreement is on file with <br />the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for the <br />full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager <br />is hereby authorized and directed to execute said amendatory contract <br />in two counterparts on behalf of the City of Redwood City, and <br />
