REG:yc:12 /16/63 -10 O R D I N A N C E N O. 1" AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ARTICT,F II (CONSISTING OF SEC- TIONS 32.9, 32.10 AND 32.11) OF CHAPTER 32 OF, ADDING A NEW ARTICLE II (COMMENCING AT SECTION 32.20) TO, AND AMENDING SECTIONS 9.13, 14.51 AND 29.13 OF, THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO THE TRANSFER OF MUNICIPAL TAXING FUNCTIONS TO THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Article II (consisting of Sections 32.9, 32.10 and 32.11) of Chapter 32 of the Code of the City of Redwood City are hereby repealed. SECTION 2. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 1 of this ordinance, the provisions of Article II (consisting of Sections 32.9, 32.10 and 32.11) of Chapter 32 of the Code of the City of Redwood City shall continue to be applicable to all matters relating to taxation for taxes which became a lien on property on the first Monday in March, 1961, or at any time thereafter prior to the first Monday in March, 1964, and the provisions of Ordinance No. 327 shall continue to be applicable to taxes which became a lien on property on or before the first Monday in March, 1960. SECTION 3. Article II (commencing at Section 32.20) is hereby added to Chapter 32 of the Code of the City of Redwood City, to read as follows: "ARTICLE II. PROPERTY TAXATION "Section 32.20 In accordance with Section 53.5 of the Charter of the City of Redwood City, and pursuant to the provisions of Article II (commencing at Section 51540) of Chapter 2, Part 2, Division 1, Title 5, of the Government Code of the State of California, the following municipal functions relative to property taxation are hereby trans- ferred to the County of San Mateo:
