AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> CONSULTING ENGINEERING SERVICES - RTSOP DOWNTOWN <br /> GRID PROJECT <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~'~ day of <br />~-~'~'~ , 1997, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br />municipal corporation of the State of Califomia, ("City"), and CCS PLANNING <br />AND ENGINEERING, INC., of Fremont, California ("Consultant"); <br /> <br /> WlTNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City proposes to interconnect twenty-nine downtown traffic <br />signals, upgrade the traffic signal center computer system, upgrade traffic signal <br />controller cabinets and controllers, and install video sampling stations in the City <br />of Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional <br />engineering and design services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience, and <br />is qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the .parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. Consultant shall perform engineering, <br />design and related services described in Exhibit 'A' hereof, attached hereto and <br />by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br /> 2. COMPENSATION; EXPENSES; DEPOSIT; PAYMENT.
