JAH:djw 11/28/89 (011/#8) <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> 0 R D N A N C E N O. 2 0 0 7 <br /> 1989 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE C~T¥ OF REDWOOD C~T¥ APPROVING <br /> AND ADOPTING THE SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE <br /> REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT NO. 2 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redwood City <br />adopted Ordinance No. 1862 on July 19, 1982, approving and <br />adopting the Redevelopment Plan for the Redevelopment Project No. <br />2 (the "Redevelopment Plan"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has previously amended the <br />Redevelopment Plan, (the "First Amendment") by Ordinance No. 1911 <br />adopted on May 20, 1985; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood <br />City (the "Agency") has formulated and prepared the proposed <br />Second Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan for Redevelopment <br />Project No. 2 (the"Second Amendment") which, among other things <br />would add territory (the "Amendment Area") to the existing <br />Project Area; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has received from the Agency the <br />proposed Second Amendment, a copy of which is on file at the <br />office of the City Clerk and at the office of the Agency, <br />together with the Report of the Agency including the reasons for <br />amending the Redevelopment Plan, a description of the physical, <br />social and economic conditions existing in the Amendment Area, <br />the proposed method of financing the redevelopment of the <br />Amendment Area, a plan for the relocation of families and persons <br />who may be temporarily or permanently displaced from housing <br /> <br /> 1 <br /> <br /> <br />
