AGREEMENT ~ <br /> for <br /> SHARED HOUSING PROGRAM <br /> <br /> (HUMAN INVESTMENT PROJECT, INC.) <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~ day of <br /> <br /> ~J~',~ k,~"~-~, 1997, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, ("City"), HUMAN INVESTMENT <br />PROJECT, INC., a California nonprofit corporation ("Contractor"); <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor conducts a shared housing program for residents <br />of the City (the "Program"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to <br />conduct the Program for residents of City during the fiscal year commencing <br />July 1, 1997, and ending June 30, 1998; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to <br />Contractor the sum of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) from its <br />Community Development Block Grant funds for the Program; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Financial Assistance. City shall allocate to Contractor the sum of <br />Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) for exclusive use by Contractor during <br />the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1997, and ending June 30, 1998, solely for <br />the purposes described in paragraph 2. <br /> <br /> 2. Use of Funds. Contractor shall use the funds provided pursuant to <br />paragraph 1 solely for the Program purposes described in Exhibits "A" <br /> <br /> <br />
