ORIGINAL <br /> AGREEMENT .- <br /> for <br /> ADULT DAY SUPPORT SERVICES FOR REDWOOD CITY SENIORS <br /> <br /> (PENINSULA VOLUNTEERS, INC.) <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this /.,~ day of <br />,~'~ 1997, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY', a <br />municipal ~ corporation of the State of California, ("City") and, PENINSULA <br />VOLUNTEERS, INC., a California nonprofit corporation ("Contractor"); <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor conducts an adult day support services for <br />seniors who are residents of the City (the "Program"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to <br />conduct the Program for residents of City during the fiscal year commencing <br />July 1, 1997, and ending June 30, 1998; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to <br />Contractor the sum of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000) from its Community <br />Development BlOck Grant funds for the Program; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Financial Assistance. City shall allocate to Contractor the sum of Ten <br />Thousand Dollars ($10,000) for exclusive use by Contractor during the fiscal <br />year commencing July 1, 1997, and ending June 30, 1998, solely for the <br />purposes described in paragraph 2. <br /> <br /> 2. Use of Funds. Contractor shall use the funds provided pursuant to <br />paragraph 1 solely for the Program purposes described in Exhibits "A" (Budget) <br /> <br /> <br />
