RD-92-12 RD 92-12 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION OF NECESSITY OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF <br /> THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY INITIATING EMIINENT DOMAIN <br /> PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br /> 29 TO 31 JAMES AVENUE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable for the Redevelopment <br />Agency of the City of Redwood City to acquire title in fee simple <br />to that certain parcel of real property owned by Robert O. Cook and <br />Janis L. Cook, (hereinafter "Property") more particularly described <br />in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and by this reference made a part <br />hereof; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the public use for which the Property is to be taken <br />is the partial implementation of the Redevelopment Plan for <br />Redevelopment Project No. 2 in the City of Redwood City, as amended <br />by carrying out the Sequoia Station Project, approved and adopted <br />by Resolution No. RD 90-05 of the Agency, (the "Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Agency is authorized to acquire real property <br />located in the Project Area by eminent domain pursuant to <br />Section 33342 of the Health and Safety Code; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, notice has been given as required by Section 1245.235 <br />of the Code of civil Procedure, and a hearing was regularly held by <br />the Agency on the 9th day of June, 1992, at which all persons shown <br />as having an interest in the Property on the last equalized <br />assessment roll were given a reasonable opportunity to appear and <br />be heard on the matters set forth hereinafter; <br /> <br />502-002D -1- <br /> <br /> <br />
