RD-92-20 RD 92-20 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION OF NECESSITY OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF <br /> THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY INITIATING EMINENT DOMAIN <br /> PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br /> 1032 JEFFERSON AVENUE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable for the Redevelopment <br />Agency of the City of Redwood City to acquire title in fee simple <br />to that certain parcel of real property owned by the Greer Family <br />Revocable Intervivos Trust, (hereinafter "Property") more <br />particularly described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and by <br />this reference made a part hereof; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the public use for which the Property is to be <br />taken is the partial implementation of the Redevelopment Plan for <br />Redevelopment Project No. 2 in the City of Redwood City, as <br />amended, by carrying out the Sequoia Station Project, approved <br />and adopted by Resolution No. RD 90-05 of the Agency, (the <br />"Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Agency is authorized to acquire real property <br />located in the Project Area by eminent domain pursuant to Section <br />33342 of the Health and Safety Code; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, notice has been given as required by Section <br />1245.235 of the Code of Civil Procedure, and a hearing was <br />regularly held by the Agency on the 31st day of August, 1992, at <br />which all persons shown as having an interest in the Property on <br />the last equalized assessment roll were given a reasonable <br />opportunity to appear and be heard on the matters set forth <br />hereinafter; <br /> <br /> <br />
