RD-95-07 RD 95-07 RD-95-7 RD 95-7 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE DEMOLITION OF <br /> STRUCTURE LOCATED AT 3426 ROLISON ROAD; AND AUTHORIZING <br /> EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were <br />solicited for the demolition of that certain structure (former 10 <br />unit apartment building) located at 3426 Rolison Road, Redwood <br />City, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, seven bids were <br />received for the performance of said work and filed with the <br />Agency Secretary; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Covey Trucking Company of San Mateo, California, is <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Board to accept said bid of Covey Trucking Company; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Covey Trucking Company, in the amount of <br />Nineteen Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty-eight and No/100 Dollars <br />($19,988.00), computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal <br />dated May 26, 1995 and executed on June 13, 1995, for the <br />demolition of structure located at 3426 Rolison Road is hereby <br />accepted, and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the <br />lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br /> 2. That certain agreement dated May 26, 1995 entitled, <br />"3426 Rolison Road, Redwood City", by and between the <br />Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City and Covey <br />Trucking Company, a copy of which agreement is on file in the <br /> <br /> <br />
