RD-00-56 <br /> <br />-- RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIAL COUNSEL <br /> SERVICES <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an environmental review, including preparation of an <br /> Environmental Impact Report ("EIR") has been conducted for the Downtown <br /> Retail/Cinema Project (the "Project") for the Redevelopment Agency of the City <br /> of Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, special counsel services are required for review of the EIR <br /> and preparation of the administrative record in compliance with the California <br /> Environmental Quality Act (Pub. Resources Code § 21000, et seq; "CEQA"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, William A. Falik, a Professional Corporation, represents that it <br /> is qualified and experienced in pedorming special legal counsel services <br /> regarding CEQA compliance; <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE REDEVELOPMENT <br /> AGENCY OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain letter agreement dated September 1, 2000, by and between <br /> the Law Offices of William A.
