RD-01-66 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPT]lNG WRITTEN FINDINGS AND OVERRULING WRITTEN <br />OBJECTIONS TO THE FIFTH AMENDMENT TO THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN <br />FOR REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT NO. 2 <br /> <br /> Whereas, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City (the "Agency") <br />has submitted to the Council of Redwood City (the "Council") a proposed Fifth <br />Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan (the "Fifth Amendment") for Redevelopment <br />Project # 2 (the "Project"); and <br /> <br /> Whereas, the Council and Agency opened a duly noticed joint public hearing on <br />the Fifth Amendment on June 11, 2001; and <br /> <br /> Whereas, the Council received a written objection to the Fifth Amendment prior <br />to the June 11, 2001 joint public heating and Section 33363 of the Health and Safety <br />Code requires that the Council make written findings in response to each written <br />objection from an affected property owner or taxing entity; and <br /> <br /> Whereas, the Council has prepared the attached written response which describes <br />the disposition of the issues raised and includes a good faith, reasoned analysis as part of <br />the response. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The Council adopts the Written Findings in Response to Written Objection <br /> ("Findings") attached to this resolution. <br /> <br /> 2. Based on the reasons given in the Findings, the Council overrules all written <br /> objections received to adoption of the proposed Fifth Amendment to the <br /> Redevelopment Plan for Redevelopment Project No. 2. <br /> <br />Form AK/DES: 6/19/01 <br /> <br /> <br />
