� • • WHK:yc:l/3/66 <br /> � �� <br /> �� ' <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. �,7 <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FURNISHING OF ONE NEW <br /> 3/4 TON TRUCK, AND REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED <br /> WI�REAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 4840,'adopted November 22, <br /> 1965, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of one <br /> new truck to be used for municipal purposes, to wit, a 1966 model, <br /> 3/4 ton truck with special body; and <br /> , <br /> WF�REAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> with the City Manager for the furnishing of said equipment; and <br /> WE�REAS,'TOWNE FORD SALES, Redwood City, Californi.a, is the <br /> lowest responsible bi3der and it is the intention and desire of <br /> this Council to,award said bid to said Towne Ford Sales; <br /> NOW, THEEtEFORE ; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THB COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, , <br /> AS FOI,LOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of Towne Ford Sales, in the total amount of Two <br /> Thousand Five Hundred Forty and 88/100 Dollars ($2,,540.88), for <br /> the furnishing of one new.3/4 ton truck, in accordance with <br /> specifications therefor approved by Resolution No. 4840, is <br /> hereby accepted,, and said bidder is hereby declared to be the <br /> lauest responsible bidder for said item. <br /> 2.
