RESOLUTION N . 10 <br />A RESOLUTION F THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />RE DWOOD CITY RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ADOPTION OF THE REDWOOD CITY <br />DOWNTOWN PRECISE PLAN WITH THE MODIFICATIONS <br />DESCRIBED As ALTERNATIVES 4 AND 6 IN THE FINAL <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT FOR THE DOWNT <br />PRECISE PLAN <br />WHEREAS, on December mber 14, 2010, the Planning Commission held <br />dead n the � public <br />e p sed Downtown rn Precise Plan for the City of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, at the December 14 public hearing, the Planning Commission <br />recommended certification of a Final Environmental Impact Report for the Redwood Cft <br />D ownt o wn Precise Plan ` �� <br />an (the Final EIR to the City Council f the City of Redwood <br />ood <br />City; and <br />WHEREAS, the Final EIR evaluated various alternatives to the proposed <br />Downtown Precise Plan presented to the Planning Commission; and <br />WHEREAS, Alternative 4 in the Final EIR would adjust the Maximum Allowable <br />D evelopment (M limitations in the proposed Downtown Precise Plan to respond to <br />■ ■ f r rt <br />prevailing economic conditions; and <br />W HEREAS, Alternative 5 in the Find EIR would provide increased p rotection s <br />for historic resources as recommended by the Historic Resources Advisory Comm t • <br />r <br />a nd <br />WHEREAS, after the duly noticed public hearing above, the Plannin <br />Commissi has considered the evidence and finds that the p Downtown <br />Precise Plan is in the public interest and consistent with the purposes of the Redwood <br />City Zoning Ordinance, and desires to refer to the City Council consideration of the <br />D own town P rec i e Plan;. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />OF THE CITY of REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />section 1. The recitals set forth above are true and correct, and are here <br />incorporated he rein rein this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. <br />Section 2 . The Downtown Precise Plan that was presented to the Plannin <br />Com mission at their* meeting on December 14, 2010, w as filed and mule available at <br />the Office of the City Clerk, and is incorporated herein by this reference, is found to be <br />in the public Interest and in conformance with the goals and objectives of Article 52 of <br />the Zoning Code of the City of Redwood City. <br />Aq/Reso/Reso. 2063 <br />I 20al 0 <br />
