RESOLUTION LUTION N . 11 A RESOLUTION F THE PLANNING COMMISSION F THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY APPROVING A VESTING TENTATIVE MAP PURSUANT TO THE SUBDIVISION MAP ACT AND THE REDWOOD CITY MUNICIPAL CODE WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Redwood City ("Commission") is empowered by Article (Planned Development Permits) and Article 30 (Off-Street Parking and Loading) of the City of Redwood City Zoning Code to acct upon applications for planned development permits and decision relevant to required guest parking within mixed use zoning districts; the Commission is also empowered by the Subdivision Map Act and the Redwood good City Municipal Code to consider Vesting Tentative Map Applications; and WHEREAS, on December 13, 2011, the Commission considered and certified an Environmental Impart Report prepared by the City's Planning Department in accordance with the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act "CE A" and, based on the approved Environmental Impact Report, considered and adopted a Statement ent of overriding Considerations and ar Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program in compliance with all CE QA requirements, as part of the City's consideration of Planned Development Permit Application loo. PD2010 -0 , the applicant's request to reduce parking requirements consistent with Zoning Ordinance Article 30, Section 30.4.B, and Nesting Tentative Map Application No. TM20 o -o - and WHEREAS, S, on December 13, 2011, the Commission conducted a public hearing, in accordance with all applicable requirements of the State Planning and Zoning Law and the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance, to consider approval of Planned Development Permit Application No. PD201 o -01, reduction of parking requirements consistent with Zoning ordinance Article 30, Section 30..E, and approval of Vesting Tentative Parcel Map Application No. TM2010 -0 , and received and considered the staff report and oral and documentary evidence on the application; and WHEREAS, the Commission has determined that the proposed Planned Development Permit, guest parking and Vesting Tentative Map would further the purposes of and appropriately implement the City of Redwood City General Plan, applicable previsions of the Redwood City Municipal Code and Zoning Ordinance, and the 20 El Carmine pearl Residential Project.
