RESOLUTION NO. P-2165 ��p� RESOLUTION APPROVING QUESTIONNAIRE FORMS AND AUTHOffiZING IMPLEMENTATION THEREOF FOR QUALIFICATION OF PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS AND APPROVING REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR THE PORT OF REDWOOD CITY WHARVES 1 AND 2 REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 20101 (d) of the Public Contract Code, the Port of Redwood City (the "Port") has the authority to pre-qualify bidders on public works; and WHEREAS, the Port may require that each prospective bidder for a contract complete and submit to the Port a standardized quesrionnaire in a form specified by the Port, including financial statements and a complete statement of the pmspective bidder's experience in perfornung public works; and WHEREAS, a copy of the questionnaire form is attached hereto and mazked Exhibit "A," ("Questionnaire"); and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. P-250 of the Port of Redwood City, the Port has the authority to proceed with a Request for Proposals in connection with the Design Build pmcess in connection with the redevelopment of Wharves 1 and 2 and ancillary construction (the "PmjecY'); and WHEREAS, the Port believes that it is in the best interest of the Port to require that pmspecrive bidders be pre-qualified and proceed with a Request for Proposals. NOW THEREFORE, BE PI' RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY. The questionnaire form attached hereto and mazked Eachibit A is hereby approved. Annroval of Ouestionnaire: The questionnaire and financial statement shall be verified under oath by the bidder in the manner in which civil pleadings in civil acrions aze verified.
