ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> For <br /> <br /> CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS TO THE MERVIN G. MORRIS BOYS AND <br /> GIRLS CLUB <br /> <br /> BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF THE PENINSULA <br /> <br />TItIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this f~ ~ay of ~~~_, <br />2000, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal c~rporation of the <br /> <br />State of California, (City) and BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF TItE PENINSULA, a <br />California nonprofit corporation (Contractor); <br /> <br /> WlTNESSETIt: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor conducts a facility renovation/improvement project to 1109 <br />Hilton which provides services to at-risk youth who are residents of the City (the <br />Program); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br />the Program for residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2000, and <br />ending June 30, 2001; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Contractor <br />the sum of Ten Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($10,000) from its Community <br />Development Block Grant funds for the Program; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Financial Assistance. City shall allocate to Contractor the sum of Ten <br />Thousand Dollars and no/100 Dollars ($10,000) for exclusive use by Contractor during <br />the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2000, and ending June 30, 2001, solely for the <br />purposes described in paragraph 2. <br /> <br />08/15/00 1 <br /> <br /> <br />
