PCB 07-04 RESOLUTION LUTION of INTENTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION of THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RECOMMENDING OMIllENDING TC THE CITY COUNCIL COIL of THE CITY of REDWOOD OOD CITY THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT of ARTICLE 60, ZONING MAP No. 22 of ORDINANCE No. 1130, THE REDWOOD CITY ZONING ORDINANCE, As AMENDED, To REZONE PROPERTIES TIES LOC ATED WITHIN THE NORTH MAIN STREET PRECISE PLAN AREA, As FURTHER DESCRIBED ED I THIS ORDINANCE, ANCE, FRO THE EXISTING ZONING DISTRICTS TO THE PLANNED COMMUNITY NITY DISTF ICT. WHEREAS, after a duly noticed public hearing on April 17, 2007, the Planning Commission of the City of Redwood City ("Commission") recommended to the City Council of the City of Redwood rood City "City Council" or "Council"), the rezoning of the properties located within the North Main Street Precise Plan Area, as shorn o n the snap which is attached as Exhibit "A „ , from the existing Industrial Park-Vehicular Combining CIP-V”) Zoning District and General Commercial "CG" Zoning District to the Planned Community "P" Zoning District; and WHEREAS, this Commission, having considered the evidence received at the public hearing duly noticed and held for said proposed rezoning, finds that the proposed rezoning is in the public interest and consistent with the purposes o f the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance. NO W, THEREFORE, .E, E IT RESOLVED LVED Y THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD 1 OOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: 1 . The recitals set forth above are true and correct, and are hereby incorporated herein by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. 2. That the Planning Commission desires to refer to the City Council consideration of an amendment to ARTICLE 60, ZONING MAP NO. 22 OF O DINANCE NO. 1130, THE REDWOOD CITY ZC NING ORDINANCE, As AM ENDED (the "Zoning Map" ) in the manner proposed and referenced in Exhibit "A" above. The existing zoning and proposed zoning to the Planned Community District are shown on Exhibit "C "; the areas to be rezoned to "P" District are identified by the dot and dash line ( 990 - -- a 000*- SECTION 5.
