PCB 07-04 <br />RESOLUTION LUTION of INTENTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION of <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RECOMMENDING OMIllENDING TC THE CITY <br />COUNCIL COIL of THE CITY of REDWOOD OOD CITY THE PROPOSED <br />AMENDMENT of ARTICLE 60, ZONING MAP No. 22 of ORDINANCE <br />No. 1130, THE REDWOOD CITY ZONING ORDINANCE, As AMENDED, <br />To REZONE PROPERTIES TIES LOC ATED WITHIN THE NORTH MAIN <br />STREET PRECISE PLAN AREA, As FURTHER DESCRIBED ED I THIS <br />ORDINANCE, ANCE, FRO THE EXISTING ZONING DISTRICTS TO THE <br />PLANNED COMMUNITY NITY DISTF ICT. <br />WHEREAS, after a duly noticed public hearing on April 17, 2007, the Planning <br />Commission of the City of Redwood City ("Commission") recommended to the City <br />Council of the City of Redwood rood City "City Council" or "Council"), the rezoning of the <br />properties located within the North Main Street Precise Plan Area, as shorn o n the snap <br />which is attached as Exhibit "A ā€ž , from the existing Industrial Park-Vehicular Combining <br />CIP-Vā€) Zoning District and General Commercial "CG" Zoning District to the Planned <br />Community "P" Zoning District; and <br />WHEREAS, this Commission, having considered the evidence received at the <br />public hearing duly noticed and held for said proposed rezoning, finds that the proposed <br />rezoning is in the public interest and consistent with the purposes o f the Redwood City <br />Zoning Ordinance. <br />NO W, THEREFORE, .E, E IT RESOLVED LVED Y THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD 1 OOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />1 . The recitals set forth above are true and correct, and are hereby <br />incorporated herein by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. <br />2. That the Planning Commission desires to refer to the City Council <br />consideration of an amendment to ARTICLE 60, ZONING MAP NO. 22 OF <br />O DINANCE NO. 1130, THE REDWOOD CITY ZC NING ORDINANCE, As AM ENDED <br />(the "Zoning Map" ) in the manner proposed and referenced in Exhibit "A" above. The <br />existing zoning and proposed zoning to the Planned Community District are shown on <br />Exhibit "C "; the areas to be rezoned to "P" District are identified by the dot and dash line <br />( 990 - -- a 000*- <br />SECTION 5.
