P - 216� <br /> RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> 2012 SUMMER CONCERT SERIES <br /> WHEREAS, The Civic Cultural Commission of the City of Redwood City <br /> recommends cuitural events to the City of Redwood City, and more particularly to <br /> the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department; and <br /> WHEREAS, the PoR of Redwood City endorses the goals and principles of <br /> the C+vic Cultura! Commission; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Civic Culturai Commission has communicated a need for <br /> funding for fhe 2012 Summer Concert Series to be held in Redwood City. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF <br /> THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The Port of Redwood City will contribute a sum of Seven Thousand ana <br /> Five Hundred and No/100 Dollars 7,SOQ 0 <br /> ($ '� to the Parks, Recreation and <br /> Community Services Department to promote the 2012 Summer Concert Series. <br /> 2. The Port of Redwood City's contribution is subject to the receipt of a <br /> letter from the Civic Cultural Commission committing itself to hold at least one (1) <br /> concert at the Port of Redwood City during the calendar year 2012. <br /> 3. The appropriate Port location and the date for the concert(s) will be <br /> designated by the Port Executive Director in consultation with the Civic Cultural <br /> Commission and the Parks, RecreaUon and Community Services Department of <br />
