RJC:ek:1A2/59-7 <br /> ORDINANCE N O. 926 <br /> ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE TIME AND PLACE OF REGULAR <br /> AND SPECIAL MEETINGS OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY AND THE REDWOOD CITY PLANNING COMMISSION; <br /> AND, REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 424 AND ALL ORDINANCES <br /> IN CONFLICT HEREWITH <br /> THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section I. REGULAR MEETINGS: The regular meetings of the <br /> Council of the City of Redwood City shall be held at the hour of <br /> 8:00 P.M. in the Board of Supervisors Chambers, Hall of Justice <br /> and Records, Redwood City, on the first four Mondays of each and <br /> every month except when such Monday or the preceding Sunday is <br /> a holiday as defined by Section 6700 of the Government Code of <br /> the State of California. All such meetings shall be open to <br /> the public. Any meeting may be cancelled in advance by order <br /> of the Council entered upon the minutes thereof. If any meeting <br /> is so cancelled the City Clerk shall forward written notice <br /> thereof to each member of the Council and to such other persons <br /> that request such notice and have filed their names and addresses <br /> with the City Clerk, unless such notice is waived as provided in <br /> Section 3 hereof for Special Meetings. Failure of any Council <br /> member or any other person to receive notice of cancellation <br /> shall not invalidate or otherwise affect the action of the <br /> Council in cancelling the meeting. <br /> Section 2. ADJOURNED MEETINGS: The Council may adjourn <br /> any regular, adjourned regular, special or adjourned special <br /> meeting to a time and place specified in the Order of Adjournment. <br /> Less than a quorum may so adjourn from time to time. If all <br /> members are absent from any regular or adjourned regular meeting, <br /> the City Clerk or Deputy City Clerk may declare and order the <br /> meeting adjourned to a stated time and place. When a regular <br /> or adjourned regular meeting is adjourned as provided in this <br />
