i RESOLUTION NO. P- 2206 RESOLUTION APPROVING SUBMISSION OF REQUEST TO CITY OF REDWOOD CITY TO ALLOW ESTABLISHMENT OF PORT OF REDWOOD CITY SUB-ACCOUNT FOR PREFUNDING OTHER POST EMPLOYMENT BENEFITS THROUGH CALPERS CALIFORNIA EMPLOYER'S RETIREE BENEFIT TRUST PROGRAM ("CERBT") AND TO APPROVE DESIGNATION OF CERTAIN POSITIONS AS AUTHORIZED TO REQUEST DISBURSEMENTS THEREFROM WHEREAS, Resolution No. P-2132, Resolution Establishing Funding Policy for Postemployment Benefits Other Than Pension, was adopted by the Board of Port Commissioners of the City of Redwood City on April 13, 2011; and WHEREAS, Resolution No. P-2132 directed application to be made to the California Employers' Retiree Benefit Trust ("CERBT") for participation in the CERBT program for the purpose of prefunding the Postemployment Benefits Other Than Pension ("OPEB") expense and liability of the Port of Redwood City; and WHEREAS, Resolution No. P-2137, Resolution Approving Submission of Agreement and Election to Prefund Other Post Employment Benefits Through Calipers California Employer's Retiree Benefit Trust Program ("CERBT"), approved execution and submission of the document entitled "California Employer's Retiree Benefit Trust Program ("CERBT") Agreement and Election of the Port of Redwood City to Prefund Other Post Employment Benefits Through Calipers"; and WHEREAS, Resolution No. P-2138, Resolution Approving Submission of Delegation of Authority to Request Disbursements Form to Calipers California Employer's Retiree Benefit Trust Program ("CERBT"), approved execution and submission of the document entitled "Delegation of Authority to Request Disbursements", which named the positions of Chairman of the Board of Port Commissioners and Executive Director of the Port of Redwood City as authorized to request disbursements from the CERBT fund; and WHEREAS, the aforementioned documents were submitted to CERBT as required by its application process; and Port of RWC/CH/05.08.13 �� Reso 204 �
