SwC:djg-c 5/03/83R <br /> JOINT EXERCISE OF POWERS AGREEMENT <br /> SOUTH BAYSIDE SYSTEM AUTHORITY <br /> Supplemental Agreement II <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, dated for convenience as of June 1,1983 , <br />1983, by and between the CITY OF BELMONT ( " Be lmon t "), a general law <br />City, the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY (" Redwood Ci tyll), a chartered City, <br />the CITY OF SAN CARLOS ("San Carlos"), a general law City, and <br />WEST BAY SANITARY DISTRICT ("West Bay"), a sanitary district <br />formerly named to the Menlo Park Sanitary District), each <br />duly organized and existing in the County of San Mateo, State of <br />California, under the Constitution and laws of the State and <br />collectively called the "Agencies"¡ <br /> WIT N E SSE T H . <br /> . <br /> WHEREAS, the agencies have heretofore entered into an agreement <br />dated November 13, 1975, entitled "Joint Exercise of Powers Agreernent- <br />South Bayside System Authority" (lithe Agreement"), and a Supplemental <br />Agreement thereto¡ and <br /> WHEREAS, the Agreement establishes the South Bayside System <br />Authority to finance, acquire and construct, and to manage, operate <br />and maintain the Joint Facilities (as defined in the Agreement) for <br />sanitary sewerage transmission, treatment and disposal services for <br />the Agencies and to comply with all conditions imposed upon the <br />Authority by the State or the United States of America, pursuant to <br />
