P- 2239 <br /> t��� � p � <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS FOR THE MARINA / <br /> BANDSTAND PUBLIC ACCESS IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, FINDING THAT <br /> THE PROJECT IS SUBSTANTIALLY COMPLEX AND REQUIRING RETENTION <br /> PROCEEDS TO BE TEN PERCENT OF THE CONTRACT PRICE AND <br /> AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br /> WHEREAS, contract documents for the Marina / Bandstand Public <br /> Access Improvement Project (the "Project") at the Port of Redwood City, 675 <br /> Seaport Blvd., Redwood City, California, have been presented to, and reviewed <br /> by, this Board of Port Commissioners; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Project includes several components, including ADA <br /> compliant structures, retaining walls, asphalt paving, striping and signage and <br /> landscaping and will require the use of several subcontractors and many <br /> suppliers; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Board of Port Commissioners desires to signify its <br /> approval thereof and authorize and direct the Port Executive Director to advertise <br /> for bids for the work therein described; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF <br /> THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> This Board finds, declares, determines and resolves that: <br /> 1.
