<br /> � RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO ACCEPT GRANTS OR

<br /> � D�EDS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AND
<br /> RESCINDING I2ESOLUTION NO. 7030 \�
<br /> WHEREAS, Section 27281 of the Government Code of the State of
<br /> � California requires that deeds or grants conveying an interest in real
<br /> � property to political corporations must be accepted by the grantees prior
<br /> � to being recorded; and
<br /> � WHEREAS, said Section 27281 provides a method whereby an officer or
<br /> � agent may be designated by the political corporation to accept such deeds
<br /> on its behalf;
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE; , '
<br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS:
<br /> l. That Jacqueline C. Hildebrand, City Clerk of the City of Redwood
<br /> City, be and she hereby is authorized to accept, on behalf of the City of
<br /> Redwood City, all deeds or grants conveying an interest in or easement
<br /> upon real estate to the City of Redwood City. .
<br /> �' 2. That Resolution No. 7030, adopted October 15, 1973, by the
<br /> Council of the City of Redwood City, is hereby. rescinded.

<br /> Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a
<br /> � regular meeting thereof held on the 21st day of January, 1974 , by the
<br /> following vote.
