P-2322 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING GRANT FROM THE STATE OF <br /> CALIFORNIA DIVISION OF BOATING AND WATERWAYS; <br /> AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE AGREEMENT <br /> BETWEEN PORT AND THE DIVISION OF BOATING AND <br /> WATERWAYS <br /> (Surrendered and Abandoned Vessel Exchange) <br /> WHEREAS, the Port of Redwood City (the "Port") obtained approval for <br /> funding of a grant (the "Grant") from the State of California Division of Boating <br /> and Waterways ("DBW") pursuant to the Surrendered and Abandoned Vessel <br /> Exchange (SAVE) ; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Grant will allow the Port to administer and dispose of <br /> abandoned watercrafts; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Grant is in the amount of $38 , 500; and <br /> WHEREAS , the Port has reviewed the Grant Agreement and Exhibits <br /> thereto (the "Contract") ; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Port desires to approve the Contract. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE ; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF <br /> THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS : <br /> 1 . The City of Redwood City, acting by and through its Board of Port <br /> Commissioners accepts the Grant in the amount of Thirty Eight Thousand Five <br /> Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($38,500) from the Division of Boating and <br /> Waterways and declares that the Port Executive Director, Michael Giari, is <br /> Reso 241 1 <br /> 08/03/16 <br /> FXS <br />
