T41r <br />RESOLUTION WITHDRAWING ANNEXED TERRITORY <br />KNOWN AS "CANYON ROAD ANNEXATION NO. 2" <br />FROM EMERALD LAKE LIGHTING DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, the hereinafter described territory known <br />as "Canyon Road Annexation No. 2" was annexed to the <br />City of Redwood City by Ordinance No. 1343, adopted <br />January 8, 1968, said annexation being effective on <br />February 13, 1968; and <br />WHEREAS, said territory is included in the Emerald <br />Lake Lighting District; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 19290 of <br />the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, <br />the hereinafter described territory known as "Canyon <br />Road Annexation No. 2" is hereby declared withdrawn from <br />the Emerald Lake Lighting District. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to forward <br />a copy of this resolution to the State Board of Equali- <br />zation, the Emerald Lake Lighting District, and the <br />San Mateo County Assessor. <br />3. The withdrawal of the following described ter- <br />ritory from the Emerald Lake Lighting District shall be <br />effective upon the adoption of this resolution and <br />subsequent filing with the'offices described in paragraph 2, <br />above. <br />4.
