3/11/02 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14424 <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING SUBMITTAL DATE FOR <br />PROPOSED BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2002103, SETTING <br />TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING THEREON, AND <br />ESTABLISHING DATE OF ADOPTION OF THE FINAL BUDGET <br />FOR SAID FISCAL YEAR <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 51 of the Charter of the City of <br />Redwood City, June 20, 2002 is hereby established as the date by which the <br />proposed budget for 2002/03 fiscal year shall be submitted to this Council by the <br />City Manager. <br />2. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 51.51.5 of the Charter of the City <br />of Redwood City, August 5, 2002, at 7:00 o'clock P.M., or as soon thereafter as <br />the matter may be heard, at City Hall, the City Council Chamber, 1017 <br />Middlefield Road, Redwood City, California, is hereby set as the time and place <br />for public hearing on the budget for fiscal year 2002/03 and August 12, 2002, is <br />hereby established as the date of final adoption of said ordinance. <br />3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice to be <br />published of the availability for inspection of copies of the proposed budget, and <br />stating the time and place at which the Council will hold a public hearing thereon <br />in accordance with Section 51.5 of the Charter of the City of Redwood City. <br />Reso /Reso.1278 F:Atty /1 <br />020402 <br />
