<br /> DES:dft :)/14/92 (005/11) <br /> o RIG I N A L 8/17/92 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2051 <br /> --------- <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 32.145 OF THE CODE OF THE <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO PENALTIES IMPOSED FOR <br /> VIOLATION OF BUSINESS LICENSE REQUIREMENTS <br /> THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION 1. Section 32.145 of the Code of the City of <br />Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 32.145. Each and every day or fractional <br /> part of a day that the trade, calling, business, <br /> profession or occupation specified in this article is <br /> conducted, carried on or engaged in, or the thing done <br /> without a license as required by this article shall <br /> constitute a violation of this article; and any person <br /> who shall violate any of the provisions of this article <br /> shall be deemed guilty of an infraction which, upon <br /> conviction, shall be punishable as set forth in Section <br /> 1. 7 (b) of this Code. Conviction hereunder shall not be <br /> construed as a waiver of the right of the City to bring <br /> a civil action, nor shall the bringing of such civil <br /> action release the defendant therein, or any other <br /> person, from prosecution pursuant to this Section." <br /> SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective thirty <br />(30) days after its adoption. <br /> * * * <br />
