DES:-~-;k 02/07/90 (035/7) FEB 26 1990 02/12/90R ORDINANCE NO. 2011 --------- ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 38.5 OF, AND ADDING SECTION 38.14 TO, THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO WATER METER SERVICE CHARGES AND CAPITAL FACILITIES FEES, RESPECTIVELY WHEREAS, this Council has held duly noticed public hearings on the question of adjusting certain rates relating to the City's water system including water meter service charge and the establishment of a capital facilities fee; and WHEREAS, in connection with consideration of the aforementioned charges and fees, this Council has reviewed and approved a report and plan pertaining to the use and construction of capital facilities for said water system for the ensuing five fiscal years; and WHEREAS, this Council hereby finds and determines that the fees and charges enacted by this ordinance do not exceed the estimated reasonable costs of providing the services for the use and construction of the facilities to which they correspond; NOW, THEREFORE: THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION l. Section 38.5 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 38.5. Water Service Charge; Schedule. In addition to all other charges and fees applicable to users of water from the water system owned or operated by the City of Redwood City, as established by the water rules and regulations, as amended, and this chapter, a monthly water service charge shall be paid for each meter installed within --....... ..-
