<br /> , <br /> ORIGINAL FXS:mge L..J/03/95 (009/75) <br /> A G R E E MEN T <br /> --------- <br /> LA RAZA CENTRO LEGAL, INC. <br /> (LEGAL ASSISTANCE INTERVENTION AND <br /> EVICTION DEFENSE PROGRAM) yf' day <br /> THIS AGREEl-1ENT, made and entered into this of <br />Þc~~ , 199 ~, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, a municipal corporation of the State of California, <br />("City") and LA RAZA CENTRO LEGAL, INC. , a California <br />nonprofit corporation ("Contractor ") ; <br /> WIT N E SSE T H: <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor, conducts a Legal Assistance <br />Intervention Program and Eviction Defense Program for Residents <br />of the City (the "Program"); and <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in <br />order to conduct the Program for residents of City during the <br />fiscal year commencing July 1, 1995, and ending June 30, 1996; <br />and <br /> WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to <br />allocate to Contractor the sum of Five Thousand and No/100 <br />Dollars ($5,000.00) from its Community Development Block Grant <br />funds for the Program; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> 1. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City shall allocate to <br />Contractor the sum of Five Thousand and No/100 Dollars <br />($5,000.00) for exclusive use by Contractor during the fiscal <br />year commencing July 1, 1995, and ending June 30, 1996, solely <br />for the purposes described in paragraph 2. <br /> 2. USE OF FUNDS. Contractor shall use the funds provided <br />pursuant to paragraph 1 solely for the Program purposes described <br />
